DIY Candle Refill Kit
A revolutionary product focused on sustainability and reducing landfill waste by providing everything you need to refill your own candle jars at home.
The refill kit is a “heat & pour” method and contains 300mls of premixed wax and fragrance in a compostable paper pouch, 2x 5cm burn size lead free cotton wicks (with sticky tabs), 2x wooden wick holders, plus instructions - of course.
Simply wash and dry your jar. Fasten the wicks inside the jar. Pop the refill pouch in the microwave and heat until the wax is melted completely (approximately 1min 30secs depending on your microwave). Pour the melted wax into the jar and allow to set overnight. Trim wicks and you’re done, how good is that!!
Size: 330mls (285gms) / 45 hours burn time. Will suit 2x 5cm wide jars or 1x 8cm wide jar using both wicks. Please note: Best suited for our standard Candle Jar, results may vary and are not guaranteed if using your own vessel.
For the refill pouch to be compostable you must wash out any excess melted wax with warm soapy water and peel off the stickers. If you can’t be bothered doing that, just throw it in the normal garbage bin with the peace of mind that it will break down in approximately 90 days once exposed to the natural elements.
